This distance education program is open to students at North Carolina A&T. The 12-credit hours required for the certificate will be delivered via a distance education mode of technology. UNC Charlotte students should enroll in the on campus graduate certificate.
The purpose of the Certificate in Information Security and Privacy is to meet the needs of persons who are interested in pursuing a career in this important area of Information Technology. The proposed certificate program may also serve the education needs of IT-related professionals in the Charlotte area seeking more advanced knowledge of this fast growing field. The certificate requires 12 hours of coursework. The certificate may be pursued concurrently with a related graduate degree program at North Carolina A&T. Core Requirements The requirements for this certificate are:
